Likes and virality in the era of street art delocalization
Abstract
This article discusses an approach to the phenomenon of virality that unofficial street art has experienced over the last few years and how this has influenced the way the public relates to this type of interventions, to the point that different terminologies have been proposed to refer to it. In addition, it addresses how the so-called Street Art festivals or Urban Art are phagocytizing the set of interventions that were developed outside the legality in public space, pushing the association of these terms with the development of commissioned murals that move away from the approaches of a subversive and critic art.
