Abstract

With the change in university programs and creation of new art-related degrees, there have been many calls requesting to revise the efficiency of these syllabus, as well as the educational methods used. Professors’ roles have been challenged, as well as several factors which were considered minor or unimportant in the educational process not so long ago such as social networks. Adapting the staff to the new more demanding educational programs has exposed voids that should be filled immediately. Creativity must be the center of artistic education whatever the field of study, as well as the transversality which is an essential element in learning arts. One of the examples considered was the artist Joseph Beuys, along with the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College models.
