Artificial Architecture and Sustainability: The Monumental Video-Mapping
Abstract
This article is about an artistic project: the monumental video- mapping. Project with an exceptional artistic value since it mixes monumental architecture, new technologies and digital creation. By means of the projection, the setting is modified with layers of virtual material that doesn’t damage the space intervened, respecting thus the support on which the work is done. Besides, the project introduces new parameters in the public sphere: conservation of the heritage and improvement of the environment, without forgetting its contribution to the cohesion between the social and the identity issues; obtaining an action model and a production process that have taken into account the use of renewable materials, helping thus to preserve our environment.Downloads
