The Communicative Function of Art: Sound, Public Space and Collective Imagination.
Abstract
This article born as a result of an analysis of my artistic project in the exhibition Live in memory, build the footprint. The exhibition took place in Sasamón (Burgos) in 2011, analyzing formal aspects and its impact. Investigation, propose new actions, interventions and questions related with our environment are the boost of our work. The recent change of esthetic categories as a result of ICT revolution, becomes necessary a constant critical reflection that scope art practices as a social gaps where art as the answer for an obvious social demand. Sounds are able to create and modify a place, even creating symbols inside the space and can have a bearing in collective imagination.
