Augmented Reality in the Field of Art: the Augmented Work of Art
Abstract
Nowadays, Augmented Reality represents an important role in the international exhibitions, for instance ArtFutura ‘04 in Spain or ARS Electronica in Austria, where contemporary artists have created new concepts and imaginary about this technology derived from Virtual Reality. Augmented Reality, in its capacity to combine the real world with the virtual world, has achieved new perspectives and experiences for the artistic avant-garde creation. Compared to others areas of knowledge, Augmented Reality represents an important resource in the field of art, trying to link two worlds, the real and the virtual, in the same space.Downloads
