Educational innovation and the Commitment to Exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art: The Case of the Fundação de Serralves and Annual Schools Project
Abstract
This work aims to go deeper into the policies developed by some museums when they want to stimulate and stir up interest in contemporary culture in different publics, including young people. Thus, contact with the most basic education levels becomes necessary and unavoidable to increasingly bond a complicity and dynamic relationship between museums and schools. In this context, we thought I would be appropriate to study the model of Project in Schools developed in the Serralves Foundation in the city of Oporto and to draw comparisons with other models like the teaching Workshops offered by the IVAM, in order to realize those actions may be worth importing.Downloads
