Arte urbano deslocalizado, fosilizado y zombi en un ecosistema viral. Acciones y reacciones
Resumen
El presente artículo analiza la transformación del arte callejero en un ecosistema viral, examinando cómo la difusión masiva digital ha alterado la naturaleza de las intervenciones y su relación con el público. Para ello, se ha rastreado la evolución ligada al desarrollo de las redes sociales en las últimas dos décadas, identificando el desplazamiento desde prácticas transgresoras hacia un muralismo institucionalizado y amable. Mediante una metodología de análisis histórico y descriptivo centrada en el ámbito europeo y casos españoles como Madrid, Málaga y Sevilla, se estudia cómo las instituciones encajan en este entorno dual entre lo urbano y lo digital. La viralidad ha propiciado la deslocalización de las obras y la aparición del Art Hunting, donde el espectador se convierte en cazador de contenidos para plataformas como Instagram. Se identifican estrategias de zombificación, fosilización y whitewashing, donde el muralismo contemporáneo actúa frecuentemente como herramienta de gentrificación en las denominadas ciudades creativas. La viralidad emerge como un elemento constitutivo del arte en el espacio público, integrando lenguajes del marketing que diluyen el carácter crítico original.
