Abstract

The present article approaches the study of Euphormionis Lusinini Satyricon, a neo-Latin satirical novel by J. Barclay. This author's imitation of Petronius can only be understood when considering the interpretation of Satyricon, typical of this time, as a satire and as novel in code.
