Functions
The Director carries out the tasks of the chief editor and ensures the smooth operation of Myrtia. She or He coordinates the editorial flow, handles communication with the Editorial Committee, the Advisory Committee, and external reviewers, and supervises the evaluation process. The Director periodically informs the Department Council about updates related to the journal.
The person who assumes the direction of the journal is elected by the Department of Classical Philology Council for a renewable four-year term.

Functions
The Secretaries are responsible for assigning an editor to each received article and tracking the editorial processes. They manage the maintenance and updating of the journal's website and the digital platform and carry out the layout of the work and checks compliance with the journal's editorial standards. They ensure the inclusion of the journal and its works in national and international databases, thus guaranteeing maximum dissemination and internationalization.
The person(s) who assume the Secretariat of the journal are elected by the Department of Classical Philology Council, at the proposal of the Director, for a renewable four-year term.

The Editorial Committee is a collegial body elected by the Department of Classical Philology Council at the proposal of the management team. Its main tasks are to ensure compliance with the journal's editorial policy, advise on external reviewers for the evaluation of received works, propose members for the Advisory Committee, and ensure the constant improvement of editorial processes and the national and international visibility of the journal.
