Abstract

In this paper, we attempt to enhance the influence of Greek toxicological literature on the Herbarius by Ps. Apuleius. This influence, wich does not necessarily have to come directly from Greek original works but from other authors, compilations and translations into Latin, can be seen in the content as well as in the formal expression of some curae from the Herbarius. In that sense, it is possible to detect in some cases some Greek sources with elements that are similar to those belonging to that work.
