Textual notes on the Progymnasmata of Libanius, from Psogos to Ekphrasis

Abstract

The present work aims to offer a series of alternative readings to those provided by the standard edition of the Progymnasmata atributed to Libanius, specifically regardind the exercises of Psógos, Sýnkrisis, Ethopoiía, and the one best represented in the collection, which is Ékphrasis, thus completing the total series of readings of the Progymnasmata alternative to those of the standard edition following those offered in two previous works that are in press.
