40_restos
Abstract
La intervención 40_restos, realizada por Dómix Garrido Abenza en el Cuartel de Artillería de Murcia entre el 4 de octubre y el 14 de noviembre de 2025, se inscribe en el ámbito de las prácticas artísticas de duración que sitúan el cuerpo como espacio de enunciación ética y política. Concebida como una acción silenciosa y sostenida en el tiempo, la obra se articuló a partir de un gesto de renuncia cotidiana: durante cuarenta días, el artista redujo su ingesta a una única comida diaria y destinó el ahorro económico generado a ayuda humanitaria para la reconstrucción de Gaza, trasladando así una decisión íntima al terreno de la responsabilidad colectiva y activando, de manera paralela, una iniciativa solidaria de recaudación de fondos en colaboración con Médicos Sin Fronteras, que extendía el alcance de la acción al ámbito social, implicando a la ciudadanía y haciéndola partícipe del propio hecho performativo.
