Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present a collection of personal adorments from the quarter of Byzantine age built over the Roman theatre of Cartagena. Here, we analyse a glassbead of a necklace, a probably earring, two finger rings, two pins and a comb, which are related with other finds and we consider different hypotheses about their cultural and chronological significance. They show new aspects about the Byzantine presence in Spania.
