Renovación de los centros espirituales en la Edad Moderna: Ermitas y conventos de Murcia
Abstract
The hermitages took part in the urban scenery from the Middle Ages but not only as just decorative elements but as spiritual protectors for the inhabitants. During the Baroque centuries, these temples disappeared gradually and were occupied by both new civil and religious buildings. This article is about the hermitages which were the seeds of the convents of different religious orders coming to Murcia from the 16th century.Downloads
