LA CASA DE HABITACIÓN EN MURCIA EN LA SEGUNDA MITAD DEL SIGLO XIX: EL ARQUITECTO JOSÉ RAMÓN BERENGUER
Abstract
The monographic analysis of the domestic architecture in Murcia has been never tackled till now. This paper, based on my doctoral dissertation, proposes a decade-&-decade classification -yet a provisional orie- of the dnseling house in Murcia during the 19th century. Besides, José Ramón Berenguer is choosen as the significant architect in the building of dweling houses; he embodies an outstanding example of a professional of that century, who represents the transition from the academic classicism of his background to the introduction of new ideals in the architecture of Murcia in the course of the 19th century.Downloads
