ANTECEDENTES PARA LA CREACIÓN DEL MUSEO SALZILLO DE MURCIA
Abstract
The Salzillo Museum in Murcia is one of the most important museums in Spanish Levant. Although not founded until 1941, its origins date back to the 19th century, since it was then that a series of events occurred that would lead to the various attempts throughout the 20th century to set up a museum. The exhibitions of Francisco Salzillo’s work, with photography used as a vehicle of dissemination, and the many requests from an ever-increasing number of visitors to the Church of Jesús, have made it all the more necessary to create an emblematic museum.Downloads
