Abstract
El trabajo intenta una aproximación al Convento español en la Edad Moderna, representado en el caso concreto del de Santa Clara de Murcia, tanto en facetas culturales como urbanísticas, de defensa de sus propios intereses. Y, fundamentalmente, como interesante promotor de distintas obras a través de los variados encargos religiosos realizados a pintores, cscultores, arquitectos, orfebres y artistas en general.
