Abstract
‘Les Miracles de Nostre Dame’ was written by Gautier de Coinci in the XIII century. It had an important diffusion, especially the ‘Theophilus Legend’: a history about a monk, who makes a pact with the Devil, anda after he is salved by the Virgin. This article is an attempt to make an iconography study about this miracle in the Besanson Codex (ms. 551).Downloads
