Research in Intercultural Education
Abstract
The article deals with identifying and describing the main areas and questions of the research on intercultural education in the Spanish context. It focuses on reviewing the research that has been done during the last ten years in terms of stablishing the consensus about the main questions for the area. The article exposes some data of a more complete unpublished report. First of all, the article proposes a defi nition of intercultural education, its assumptions and objectives. Furthemore, we identify, describe and exemplify the areas and questions of research. The information shows the accumulated evidence about some main questions and it is relevant in order to make decisis about intercultural education implementation.Downloads
