Satisfacción y ocio familiar en estudiantes de Educación Secundaria: una relación significativa

Resumen

Existen diversas formas de valorar la eficacia del ocio familiar, pero a nivel psicológico, sus efectos en lo emocional cobra un gran protagonismo, queda ampliamente demostrado que fenómenos socioeducativos como este infiere sobre el desarrollo integral en etapas tan sensibles e importantes como la adolescencia. Con el propósito principal de identificar si existe una relación significativa entre la satisfacción familiar y el ocio familiar, se diseñó un estudio en el que participaron 1054 adolescentes de la Región de Murcia, en la cumplimentación del cuestionario ad hoc “Evaluación de las prácticas de ocio familiar. Cuestionario para adolescentes”. Los resultados subrayan que los conflictos durante el ocio atentan de forma negativa sobre la satisfacción familiar, mientras que todos los descriptores de las fortalezas del ocio familiar se identifican como elemento de condicionamiento positivo. De acuerdo a las tipologías, el ocio deportivo, gastronómico y turístico resultan las más beneficiosas y, en cuanto a los agentes, la propia familia queda retratado como el principal responsable. De esta manera, se pone de manifiesto la importancia que tiene las prácticas de ocio familiar dentro del campo de trabajo de la psicología como ente de desarrollo personal y familiar, el cual ha de ser considerado por administraciones y centros de investigación a fin de asegurar su promoción y reconocimiento.
