Abstract

A kinetic survey of potassium clavulanate has been carried after intravenous administration in goats. Results show that c1avulanate is spread in goats according to an open paltern whith two compartments whose expression is a follows: Ct = 61'5078 e-0,1453t + 28'5500 e-0,0133t mg/l. Several pharmacokinetic parameters have been studied as well as the evolution of clavulanate concentrations in the different compartments. Finally, the binding of clavulanate to plasmatic proteins of goat has been studied, resulting an average union percentage of 16.30%.
