Abstract

It is studied the chronology ossification of the knee joint on the Siames Cat with radiological techniques, from birth to the 25th postnatal week. In this experience we have used 40 kittens (19 males and 21 females), belonging to 11 litters, monitorized for: racial pattern, health, feeding, growth and radioactive dose. It is determined the moment of appearance and the evolution of the centers of ossification which are implicated,as the facts and closure times processes. The ossification aspects of the knee joint in the Siames Cat were compared with that of the Common Cal.
