REVIEW: NOMENCLATURE AND ICONOGRAPHY OF THE PARTS AND TYPES OF FEATHERS
Abstract
Based upon the Nomina Anatomica Avium we have done a review of the nomenclature of the parts and types of feathers. The more usual terms have been included, and the more appropriate names, in spanish, are proposed. To contribute to a better understanding of this subject most of the anatomical structures have been evidenced on colour pictures.Downloads
