OCULAR MANIFESTATIONS IN A DOG WITH EHRLICHIOSIS
Abstract
A case of canine ehrlichiosis was diagnosed in a young dog with a history of blindness since 3 days. Ocular signs on admission included bilateral uveitis, retinal oedema and perivascular and peripapilar haemorrhages. This report suggest that the last lesions could be secondary to a severe thrombocytopenia. The vision was recovered after the treatment, but signs of the retinal atrophy remained.Downloads
