About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Anales de Documentación has been issued annually since its start in 1998. From 2011 will be published two times a year, one in February-March and in September-October. Is published by the Facultad de Comunicación y Documentación at the University of Murcia, Spain. Anales de Documentación is an online journal available at http://revistas.um.es/analesdoc. The Journal accepts original papers, translations and reviews related to every field and disciplines in Library and Information Science. The peer review selection and evaluation system applied follows the standard protocol proper of scientific periodical publications. Titles, abstracts and keywords are also included in English, in order to warrant an international scope. Anales de Documentación is indexed in the LISA (Library Information Science Abstracts ), LISTA (Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts) International database, in the Spanish ISOC database and in the digital repositories e-revist@as, E-LIS, Redalyc and Latindex.

 

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are peer-reviewed, using the standard processes followed in the edition of any periodical scientific publication. Each paper is sent to two referees.
