About the Journal
The journal accepts original contributions that address methodologies and didactics of art teaching, pedagogical innovations, studies on contemporary artistic creation, analysis of cultural policies, cultural management and mediation, as well as the incorporation of new technologies in education and artistic production. It publishes research articles with scientific rigor, systematizations of innovative educational experiences, theoretical reflection articles, critical reviews of publications or artistic events, and interviews with relevant figures in the field.
Visceral is aimed at researchers in art education and cultural studies, art teachers at all educational levels, artists interested in the educational dimension of their practice, cultural managers, and the educational community in general. The journal has an international vocation and accepts manuscripts in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, fostering the exchange of knowledge among the Ibero-American and global academic community. All articles undergo double-blind peer review.

Anti-plagiarism policy
The journal Visceral will guarantee the originality of all manuscripts through the use of anti-plagiarism software. This policy will ensure originality and detect matches and similarities between texts submitted to the journal and those previously published in other sources. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected for publication.

The journal Visceral is published exclusively in digital format.
Fees
The publication of scientific articles in our journal does not entail any fees or payments.
Open access policy
This journal provides its contents in immediate open access and full text, under the principle that allowing free access to research results contributes to greater exchange of knowledge at a global level.
