El uso de los reflectores antiaéreos desde Albert Speer al arte contemporáneo
Resumen
Este artículo se fundamenta en la modificación del uso de los reflectores antiaéreos, un dispositivo bélico de las fuerzas de defensa que utiliza la luz para visualizar y deslumbrar a los enemigos. Se establece como punto de partida la llamada Catedral de la luz realizada en Núremberg en 1935 por Albert Speer, ya que fue pionero en producir con reflectores una intervención lumínica y arquitectónica que sirvió como acción simbólica del poderío nazi. Asimismo, se ejemplifican otras producciones de diferentes autores como Forrest Mayers, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Ryoji Ikeda o Anthony McCall que pese a utilizar la misma configuración formal y calidad lumínica de los reflectores, cambian su conceptualización a través de la arquitectura, la publicidad o del lenguaje artístico. Se mencionan así una serie de instalaciones contemporáneas vinculadas con la interactividad ciudadana y con la conmemoración de actos históricos con los que se muestra el cambio de paradigma de los reflectores antiaéreos en su historia.
