Abstract

Line 40 of Callimachus’ Coma Berenices (fr. 110 Pfeiffer = 110 Harder = 213 Massimilla) has been transmitted with an initial lacuna. This article aims to defend a supplement proposed by Lenchantin and discarded by all subsequent editors.
