GENDER IMBALANCES IN EDUCATION IN CONTEMPORARY SPAIN: CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND INDICATORS
Abstract
This article presents an overview of several key explanations of gender imbalances in uncompensated education in Spain is provided. This is done by analyzing the quantitative and qualitative changes that have taken women’s education in the nineteenth and twentieth -reflected in statistics and regulatory standards of development. Thus, this article discusses the processes and models of schooling, legitimizing them mentality, the impact on different sections of the population, specific curriculum proposals for each sex or after uniforms have been maintained and/or modified imbalances genus. But, the agency of women included in the will to overcome these barriers by not a few young people. Critical analysis of the purposes and procedures included in the design of educational policies, their implementation and their consequences , it shows what aspects and dimensions continue to demand more and better educational interventions to meet the students every opportunity to themselves in a truly democratic society equality.Downloads
