Abstract

Based on the idea that Labour law is from its origins set up on a system under “reform”, this paper studies the Spanish reforms from 1975 to 2012. The work follows a chronological order of the reforms. Secondly, the Law of Labour Relations (1976), the RD-Law of Relations of Work (1977), the original Statute of Workers (1980), the Law 32/1984, the Laws 10 and 11/1994, the Law 63/1997, the Law 35/2010, the RD-Law 7/2011 and the Law 3/2012 are studied, as well as other relevant provisions. At each reform, the economic, social and political context is explained, and then their main contributions to the Spanish labour system are analysed.
