BASIC FEATURES OF THE LABOUR MARKET IN THE COMUNIDAD AUTONOMA DE MURCIA
Abstract
This contribution analyse the main characteristics of the Region of Murcia's labour market, showing first the evolution of population and the effects of that respect to the supply of labour. Secondly, the paper examines the employed population and their conditions: sectorial economics distribution, job scarcity and irregular conditions operating in the labour market. After that, the authors review the dynamic of the regional unemployment and their main characteristics. Finally, the paper shows the effects over the income distribution under a high unemployment.
