EXPULSION AND EXILE OF THE MORISCOS “MUDÉJARES” OF THE KINGDOM OF MURCIA (1610-1614)
Abstract
The decision-making process which led to the expulsion ofthe so called mudéjares from the Kingdom of Murcia in1613-1614 was long and eventful, and ended with the acceptanceof the mudéjares in the territories of the Monarchy,allowing them to stay or being accepted in territories outsidethe Peninsula. This article analyses how the decision wastaken, and contributes with new data on the number ofvanished from the Kingdom of Murcia.Downloads
