The demography in the province of Palencia from baptism series, 1580-1860
Abstract
The present work, that compose the analysis of census and general neighbourhood next to the baptismal registries for period 1580-1860, has allowed to need the degree reliability of each one of these general counts, as web as to be able to throughout clarify the evolution of the baptismal series the period. Of it, most outstanding it is the verification from which the demographic expansion of century XVI arrives at its aim in this zone in the decade of 1580, and which until the last decade of century XVIII these values will no return to be reached.Downloads
