Intervention of industrial patrimony model complex "El Dique" of Navantia in Puerto Real
Abstract
At the beginning of 1990 Astilleros Españoles (present Navantia) decides to attempt the re-building project of the Old Dike of Careening of Factory of Matagorda and his most nearest environment, whose result was the present Historical Area of the Factory of Puerto Real, an industrial place where different landscapes can live each other in harmonic way, all of them come from the big peak this place took at the end of 20th century.
The present dependences of the Museum are situated in the old bomb chamber, in the west side of the historical area. In his four rooms and closed places (Archive, Library, Newspaper Library and Photographic Library) you can follow the evolution of the Spanish Shipbuilding with all details.
