Abstract

A kinetic survey of amoxicillin has been carried after intravenous administration in goats. Results show that amoxicillin is spread in goats according to an open pattern with two compartments whose expression is as follows: Ct = 192'0918 e-0,1971t + 96'4564 e-0,0109t mg/l. Several pharmacokinetic parameters have been studied as well as the evolution of amoxicillin concentrations in the different compartments. Finally, the binding of amoxicillin to plasmatic proteins of goats has been studied, resulting an average union percentage of 15.85%.
