PROTEIN BINDING OF AMOXYCILLIN AND CLAVULANIC ACID IN PIGEONS (<i>COLUMBA LIVIA</i>) AND CHICKENS (<i>GALLUS GALLUS</i>)
Abstract
The binding of clavulanic acid and amoxycillin to plasmalic proteins in hen and pigeon has been studied by equilibrium dialysis. Both substances were determined according to FOULSTONE and READING (1982). Amoxycillin has an average percentage of union to plasmatic proteins of pigeon of 14.64% and 16.36% in hen. These values for clavulanic acid are 28.62% and 31.70% respeclively.Downloads
