OBTENCIÓN Y MANTENIMIENTO DE LECHONES DONANTES S.P.F. (SPECIFLC PATHOGEN FREE) PARA XENOTRASPLANTE
Abstract
Reciently, has been proposed the posibility of pathogen transmission in xenotransplantation. There are some studies about this, but in animals obteined through normal farrow. In the same way in human transplantation in witch one of the objetives is avoid transmission of pathogens like hepatitis virus or Hiy we have design a selection protocol in order to avoid or reduce transmission of pathogens from donor pigs to baboons. The objetives of this study were to minimize health risks for xenotransplantation receptor, and select the mothers of future donors in the basis of an speciphic pathological study criterion.Downloads
