PARASITES FROM THE LARGE INTESTINE OF SHEEP IN MURCIA
Abstract
The helmintofauna of the large intestine of sheep in the Comunidad Autónoma de Murcia has been studied. One hundred and seven adult sheep were necropsied for parasitological identification. Also, faecal samples were collected and analysed by a modified McMaster technique. The high prevalence of Trichuris spp and the elevated parasite load of Skrjabinema ovis are remarkable. Comparison of the results and those reported from other areas is discussed.Downloads
