La adaptación al turco de la Escala de Autosilenciamiento para Mujeres: estudio de validez y confiabilidad

Resumen

Objetivo: El auto-silenciamiento es una variable asociada a trastornos psicológicos en mujeres, especialmente a la depresión. El objetivo de este estudio es probar las propiedades psicométricas de la forma turca de la Escala de Auto-silenciamiento y permitir que la escala se utilice en el campo de la salud mental. Método: 560 mujeres, con edades entre 18 y 59 años, inscritas en el estudio. Resultados: Los análisis factoriales confirmatorios (AFC) de primer y orden superior revelaron valores de bondad de ajuste suficientes para la estructura de cuatro factores de la escala. Se observó que los valores obtenidos del Alfa de Cronbach y de los estudios de confiabilidad test-retest de la escala también se encontraban dentro de límites aceptables. Discusión: Se evidenció que la escala que se adaptó al turco dentro del ámbito del estudio es una herramienta de medición válida y confiable. Estos resultados muestran que la escala tiene una contraparte en la cultura turca e indica una estructura similar y puede usarse en estudios futuros.
