Abstract

This work is focused on the study of the existence of a double sexual pattern in male and female adolescents, regarding their sexual feelings and behaviours. A questionnaire consisted of the most relevant aspects of sexual feelings and behaviours was administered to 380 boys and 384 girls from Ávila, Zamora and Badajoz, between 13 and 20 years old, and with a mean age of 16.1. The results support the existence of a double sexual pattern concerning sexual feelings and behavior, which was interpreted using a biological and cultural approach.
