International Journal of English Studies (IJES) is a refereed, peer-reviewed, journal which seeks to reflect developments in the general field of English Studies: English Language and Linguistics, Applied English Linguistics, Literature in English and Cultural studies of the English-speaking countries.

IJES is indexed, amongst other databases, in SCOPUS, MLA, ERIH PLUS and SCImago Journal & Country Rank.

Quality Assessment

The International Journal of English Studies (IJES) has recently renewed the FECYT Quality Award (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology). IJES is also included in ERIH PLUS and in the Emerging Sources Citation Index. The 2014 issues are listed in SCImago Journal Rank (Q1 for Cultural Studies and Literature and Literary Theory, and Q2 for Linguistics / Language).
