Una perspectiva bibliométrica sobre la participación deportiva y la movilidad socioeconómica
Resumen
Los investigadores analizaron el ámbito de la movilidad social y el deporte (SM&S), examinando la influencia del deporte en la movilidad social y en los factores socioeconómicos. Este estudio empleó un análisis bibliométrico para revisar investigaciones previas sobre la relación entre deporte y movilidad social. El objetivo fue identificar áreas poco exploradas mediante la revisión de 582 artículos académicos de WoS publicados entre 1992 y 2023. La cartografía geográfica muestra cómo se distribuye la actividad investigadora en diferentes regiones, mientras que el mapeo de co-ocurrencia de palabras clave identifica los temas más relevantes. La investigación destacó el crecimiento exponencial en el número de documentos desde 1992 hasta 2023, especialmente a partir de 2003. Geográficamente, se evidenció la influencia de los países desarrollados en la investigación. El análisis de co-citación de autores clasificó a los investigadores en cuatro escuelas de pensamiento distintas. Los resultados indican una transición hacia un enfoque más amplio e integrado en la investigación deportiva, enfatizando la influencia de la economía, la sociología, el bienestar y los factores de participación. Para investigaciones futuras, se recomienda realizar más revisiones temáticas que profundicen en las cuatro líneas temáticas de SM&S.
