Economic impact of the XXI Winter Masters Spanish “Open” Swimming Championship in Pontevedra 2015
Abstract
The aim of this study consists of analyzing the effects of the celebration of a sport event in a location. In particular, attention is paid to the economic impact of the celebration in the municipality of Pontevedra of the XXI Winter Masters Spanish “Open” Swimming Championship in February 2015. Moreover it analyzes the profile of the assistants to this event from a point of view of the “sport tourist” according to a specific survey carried out for the event.
