Historia de las mujeres en la Edad Media

Abstract

Reseach on History of women was developed in Spain in the last years of the XX century. At the beginning, this research was linked to women studies and supported by universitary institutes and specialised associations. From early XXI century onwards, this research on History of women has been consolidated with good production, but has had little influence on universitary formal studies. On Middle Age research, there are two long-standing trends -equality feminism and differential feminism- and two emerging ones -marxism feminism and ecofeminism-. History of women in the Middle Age should be approached from these two emerging trends to add new knowledge.
