Abstract

In the last decades the study of rural landscape has become a sufficiently worthy resarch topic, now well-established. Taking the Andalusian land as a geographic reference, this paper examines its influence in historiography, by paying attention to the Late Middle Ages. This analysis focuses on the development and the different perspectives of taking landscape as a study object, in order to introduce a discussion on its heritage value.
