Obispos y sínodos hispanos ante el emparedamiento bajomedieval
Abstract
Late Medieval walling-up was strongly supported by all social groups. Walled-up women earned the respect of the church sector, especially that of bishops and canons, which is particularly detected through the examination of wills and synodal deeds in the Late Middle Ages. The high diocesan hierarchies trusted the value of the recluses’ prayers.Downloads
