El ejército de la corona de Aragón en la expedición contra Almería de 1309
Abstract
The objective in this article is to make an estimate of the power of Aragon’s Kingdom army, which it was about 13.000 men. We have been able to achieve this number by studying lots of documents: army calls, mostra and emenda of the horses, debt moratoriums and the payments for the army services. We also know the composition of the Jaume II Aragon king’s army mobilized for the Almería campaign: nobles, knights, royal house, military orders, cross knights, infantry and other special corps.Downloads
