Abstract
The study as a whole of the sanctuaries of Murcia, as the most important expression of popular religiosity, is a pending task. In this article, on the basis of selected examples, provides suggestions on how to cope with work and sets out a series of common characteristics that come into this kind of temples from the Middle Ages to the present day, with special attention to the nature and significance the cycles iconographic that decorate.Downloads
