Características del atuendo español del setecientos a través de la documentación notarial de Murcia
Abstract
The following article pretends to offer an approach to the main features of Spanish costume beginning from the study of clothes and materials that are summoned in the notarial protocols issued in the last fifteen years of the XVIIIth century in Murcia. For this purpose, we have referred to the records of properties included in dowry letters, wills, inventories and postmortem partitions. So, through these documents, we analyse the defining features of Spanish costume in this problematic period, full of changing fashions and interconnections between the influences from other European courts, as far as clothing was concerned.Downloads
