Abstract
We present an architect's absolute refection of a report issued by the Royal Academy of Fine Arrs of San Fernando against the works carried out by him in a building destined to Bath House in Murcia. We illustrate with documents the disrespect, even from a provincial architect and as early as those years, to the previously unappealable value judgements of the mentioned institution. We show the increasing importance of city laws, as opposed to criteria supported by ancient institutions. and the progressive self-suufliciency of the profession of architect.Downloads
